Surprised that we finally found a good and relaxing local restaurant. It is an exception of the ordinary touristic places out there! Definitely recommended!!

This place offers traditional meals and is famous for its different kinds of grilled meat. They won't offer you a menu but will retell all the things that their wonderful cook can prepare for you. Try the beans soup, the mixed salad, the meatballs and the fried potatoes. You better call in advance to book a table. It is a small bistro and a good alternative of the mass restaurants on the main streets of Borovets.

It has been my favorite place to eat in Borovets for years, soo tasty you can't go wrong no matter what you order there. It's different from everything you find around. Super friendly and homey vibe, great prices. Go there!

It's off the beaten track, does not advertise itself but ıt was the best food we had in Borovets. Good mezzes, meat is grilled in a little wood oven in the restaurant in front of you. Ask for the bread especially, never had a bread like that it's more like a cake.

Visit this restaurant a must. You will not regret. Everything is homemade. The grill is made of the fireplace in front of you. Perfect.

We were very lucky to find this place. When enjoyed eating there that we came back for lunch every day while we were there. The owner is very nice (an Olympian) and you can tell that the food is cooked with care. The banitza was the best I've had in Sofia.
