Had a great stay at Family Hotel At Renaissance Square. Nice and clean room and perfect location with walking distance to the old city and to the pedestrian zone. The host is super nice, helpful and made a great breakfast for us. He even helped us get to the train in time. Recommended with all my heart!

Dimitar is the perfect host...he is friendly, professional and a perfectionist. If we could give the property 6 stars for service, we would without hesitation.We loved the location as it was extremely close to the old town and the main pedestrian mall yet a local neighbourhood with a lot of character.Thank you Dimitar...may some good karma head your way.

Staying at the Renaissance in Plovdiv was almost like staying with family -- but better. The rooms were wonderful, the restaurant made amazing food, but most importantly was the warm welcome I received from the owner, his family and all the staff. If you're traveling to Plovdiv, this is the perfect place to stay. Out of the center of town with its hustle and bustle but only a short walk from everything you want to see and do in Plovdiv.

This is a new building on the site of an old house. It has been rennovated to a high standard with traditional flavour. The rooms are basic but comfortable with tvs aircon and newly fitted bathrooms. Located in the old town and close to all the tourist features. The owner is most helpful and attentive and keen to direct you around the town. Check your satnav though as google maps lists two hotel rennaissences in Plovdiv. There is actually only one, and it is the furthest away from the river.
