The best food we had in Bansko so far. The ingredients are the real thing, and you can feel for sure that they actually prepare and cook everything locally. The decor is traditional but not kitsch. The service is perfect. To summarize, this is a real restaurant that respect itself.

The whole burning plate really got to me besides the fact that it was delicious. We also served some local wine with a special flavor. The waiter seemed a little intrusive, always checking on us, thus leaving us with little intimacy.

Visited twice for dinner when staying in the town and had amazing food both times. We visited a couple of other similar taverns and this was by far the best place. House (home made) wine was outstanding and cheap, food delicious and cheap, service excellent and felt very cosy. Would have gone back again if we had the time! (Make sure you try the mish mash and hotch potch potatoes!)

Really nice rooms, brilliant local food and really helpful and friendly staff. Short and pleasant walk up the high street to the gondola. My only warning would be that the gondola opens much earlier than most eateries in the town, including the hotel resteraunt. So if you want to be on the first lifts up the mountain I recommend not paying for breakfast in advance.
