Mike and Jerry gave us a very heartly welcome. The service was great - also very good diner and breakfast. Try the local wine. The rooms / kitchen / shower were clean and well equipped. The small but refreshing pool and the nice garden is what cyclists need after their tour.The beautiful surrounding invites for strolling.

I visited the Centre and the Guesthouse with other European tour operators.The place is a nice retreat, suitable for relaxing and for bird watching lovers.The guesthouse owners are very kind and passionate about birds life.

A first class place to stay.Clean, good value, excellent surroundings, and most of all a warm welcoming by Mike his wife Jerry. Full of information about the lake, which is 200 meters away, with breathtaking views, and the breakfast of home made jams, with lashings of bread and honey made the stay perfect.Top marks!!Glynn. Had a lovely stay for 3 nights. Made us all very welcome including our little dog - jake. Homely facilities and excellent hospitality, Jerry does an excellent breakfast and John thoroughly enjoyed his Marmite, 6 weeks without was causing withdrawl symptoms. Mikes knowledge of birds (feathered) is excellent and I am pleased to have come away with pictures of a spoonbill.

We have had a wonderfull stay in Srebarna, at the Pelican lake Guesthouse.The rooms are much more confortable than the usual bulgarian standards, the breakfast is a three stars one and, after some minutes, Mike and Jerry are like old friends ...Time has stopped there, and this is nice to stay in such a quiet place after some days on the crowdy Black sea coast...Just a regret: we should have spend one or two more nights there!

From the moment we arrived Jerry and Mike were the perfect hosts. Our accomodation was spotlessly clean and really comfortable. We were waited on hand and foot and yet at the same time treated like old friends. We really enjoyed our stay and are happy to recommend the guesthouse to any-one.
