An exquisite experience at the beginning of the tour. We got to try different varieties of pure wine and fruit flavoured wines (they have a mix of wine and local fruits - must try the rose and figs!). They also advise you what to try according to your tastes. Oh, and the view is amazing! You can sit here and admire the gardens and the sea.

It's an amazing idea to integrate wine tasting into the experience of visiting queen Maria's place in Balchik. The tasting does not only include novelty wine flavors (such as chocolate, pomegranate and even spicy wine), but hard liquor as well (watermelon flavor included, as well as many others Balkan people know as rakia). The very personable guide made sure that entire groups get to understand the history of the place, some tips about logistics and food-wine pairing. Chapeau!

The Regina wine is a very nice wine with tones of dark chocolate and cherry. It could be used as a port to complement a good platter of cheese. Queen's Winery House has a great range of wines and tasting is free. They will make it worth your wile.

Great wines and free tasting. Interesting specialties: fig wine, rose wine, wine with almonds, with honey, pumpkin "tuica". Interesting stories told by a lady who speaks also Romanian. Not cheap, but this is expected. You can find their products in their store and you can order on their website. They also deliver in Romania.
